On the CASE: The CASE of Daisy Delight
Occasions Catalog – Page 127 (set), Page 126 (card)
For today’s CASE file, I headed back to the Annual Catalog and the Daisy Delight stamp set. I always need Thank You cards, and this set has a beautiful Thank You sentiment. The font is gorgeous, don’t you agree? While there are several samples from which to choose, I opted to CASE the Pool Party card which used the Ruffled 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
What a versatile layout! Think of all the different color combinations and designer papers you can use. It’s perfect for using up scraps. Stamping the sentiment on vellum allows just a hint of the pattern to peek through. As I sit here, my mind is already racing ahead to other cards I can’t wait to make. That’s the beauty of CASEing a design: they serve as inspiration to get your own creative juices flowing!

“On the CASE” Notes
Your Step-by-Step Guide
1. Score the Pool Party cardstock at 4-1/4″ to form the card base. Emboss the face of the card using the Ruffled folder.
2. Create an oval from Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper using the largest Layering Ovals thinlet. Use the pattern shown.
3. Ink the small daisy image in Daffodil Delight and stamp onto Whisper White cardstock. Snip out with paper snips.
4. Ink the leaf outline image in Old Olive, and stamp onto Old Olive cardstock. Create four leaves. Snip out.
5. Ink the sentiment in Night of Navy. Stamp onto vellum. Snip the ends into a “V”. Tip: To prevent the ink from smearing on the vellum, dry it with a heat tool set on low.
6. Add a snippet of Night of Navy Washi Tape onto the card base.
7. Adhere the sentiment to the designer paper oval using the Fine-tip Glue Pen. Tip: Add a few drops behind the script for a “no-show” attachment.
8. Adhere the Touches of Nature Elements to the back of the oval as shown, using Mini Glue Dots.
Adhere the leaves and small daisy image with Mini Dimensionals.
9. Pop onto the card base with dimensionals.
10. Add three small Clear Faceted Gems for a bit of sparkle.
How Hard Was It to Crack This CASE
This is such a pretty card that is so straight-forward to create, with only a smidge of simple fussy cutting involved. What I love about this card is that you can switch out the sentiment, and easily change colors and paper for a card that can be used for all sorts of occasions. Difficulty Level: 2 out of 5

I love this series and seeing your take on it. It was pretty in the catalog and even prettier with your touch! Thanks for sharing the details.
Oh I love it MsAnn, what a beautiful card , thank you so much for your beautiful comments,
Hugs Frenchie ♥️♥️
Gorgeousness! Love the touch of vellum which softens the focal flowers. Background embossing is beautiful…. however, I sold my EF … it was SO BIG I hated using it.
I really prefer the OLD EF that were smaller and could be used with a Cuttlebug too. Hugs
I just had to have the bundle when it reappeared after being sold out and I don’t think I even used any of it. Now, I have no excuses as this card is so pretty! I don’t have that EF but that is fine. I can easily make due with what I have. I really like the DSP oval with the velum thank you over it. Thanks for resurrecting this pretty card!
Lovely card Ann! Sharing the details is much appreciated.
