My Resume

My Customer Commitment: I am committed to providing my customers with the best Stampin’ Up experience possible.  Whether it is teaching techniques or providing information about the latest products or promotions, my customers are my number one priority.  At the Stampin’ Schach, you are more than a customer…you are a friend!

My Stampin’ Family: I am blessed to be part of Mary Fish’s Stampin’ Pretty Pals.  Mary’s direct upline is Lisa Pretto, of Inkbig Academy.  Both of these women are Stampin’ Up! rock stars, having been named to Stampin’ Up!’s Advisory Board.  I have learned my leadership skills from the best!  My sideline is a talented group of stampers, as is my downline, The Schach Pack.  We are a caring and supportive community, composed of hobby and career stampers. Plus, we provide a variety of resources designed to enhance your Stampin’ Up! experience.

Personal Background: I am a Midwestern gal through and through, born in Iowa and raised in Illinois.  I am happily married to my supportive husband, Kim.  Together we raised one son, Brady.  Brady received his Masters in Trumpet Performance, and also earned his Jazz certificate.  He resides in Seattle with Kia the Boxer.

Teaching is my passion.  I was a high school science teacher for 34 years.  Chemistry and Physics were my favorite subjects to teach.  I served as a mentor to new teachers and presented sessions on authentic assessment across the state of Iowa.

I was introduced to the world of stamping in December, 2008, when I purchased my first stamp set at a tag sale.  I became a demonstrator in February, 2009.

In addition to stamping, my hobbies include reading, walking, and showing Boxer dogs.  I am currently “Mom” to AKC GCH Cimarron’s Do You Know the Muffin Man (Muffy), UKC CHCimarron’s What Were You Thinking (Brody), AKC GCH Burlwood’s Unlike Any Other (Lexi), GCH/Can CH Anscha-Happy Tail’s You Don’t Know Jack CGCA RN BN TDI (Jackie).  Jackie is a certified therapy dog and loves his “work”.

Artistic Recognition:   I have won numerous challenges, including Mojo Monday.  I have served on several design teams, including Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen, Pals Paper Arts, Freshly Made Sketches and The Paper Players.

Stampin’ Up! Honors: During my time as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I have earned two incentive trips, as well as the Achiever’s Bonus.  In addition, I earned one of Stampin’ Up!’s greatest honors in 2014 and 2015…being named to Founder’s Circle.  I also presented at Convention 2014 on the topic of Balancing Your Stampin’ Up! Business with Your Personal Life.  I love my Stampin’ Up! life!

  3. Thanks for the pictures you sent me of your Boxers. They all look like nice dogs. My three are my babies. Lara

  4. First time on your blog. The picture of the Boxer is really nice. A very nice looking Boxer. I have three Boxers (mommy, daddy, and baby) never a dull moment. Just wanted to say hello! I like your cards too. I signed up to follow you.

  5. As usual, a beautiful card Ann! Such soft colors! I am so enjoying the cards you are sending. Thanks for asking the PALS to send them also!!!

  6. Question on the card dated 3/23/2018. What cardstock color was used for the base card as well as soft sky(where did you use this color on the card)? It’s a bit difficult to see the colors bended especially on the leaves. Other than that it’s a super card. Looks like you used crumb cake as the background color for the fern with a stamped off technique as well. Correct?

  7. Vickie Schach Olson

Ann, I too am a Schach. Schach was my maiden name and I was raised in Burlingotn, Iowa. I was wondering if your husband Kim could have come from there too. My father was Ed and he was a dentist in Burlington. He had several cousins with the name of Schach living in Burlington too. At any rate, I saw your card and pinned it and then I saw your name so I decided to write. I love to stamp but am not associated with any stamp group. I get most of my ideas from pinterest.

I would love hearing back from you if and when you might have the time. My name now is Vickie Olson and I live with my husband Gary in Bettendorf, Iowa.
