The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s card is a confection of leaves created with the Gathered Leaves dies. The sentiment, which was inked in Pretty Peacock and stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock, is from the Country Home stamp set. It seemed perfect for this week’s challenge. Crumb Cake and Pretty Peacock card stock, as well as Copper Foil, were used to make the different styles and sizes of leaves which were arranged on either side of the sentiment.
The background was created by washing Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze inks over the surface of water color paper. It’s so easy, and creates a soft and pretty backdrop for the leaves. A trio of Pretty Peacock rhinestones and a bow created from Copper Trim were all that were needed as embellishments.
