Here are the details:

Stamp/Bundle:  Cheers To That Bundle
Paper:  Very Vanilla Thick cardstock (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″), Very Vanilla cardstock (piece large enough to die cut 3″ circle), Whisper White cardstock (3-1/2″ x 11/16″), Pretty Peacock cardstock (2-3/16″ x 3/8″), Red Glimmer Paper (4″ x 2″), Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (Pretty Peacock pattern: 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″;  Ornament pattern: small section from which to cut ornaments)
Inks: Mossy Meadow, Versamark
Other:  Paper Snips, Heat Tool, White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Embossing Buddy, Cheers Dies, Stitched Shapes dies,  Red Rhinestones, Multipurpose Liquid Glue,  SNAIL, Stampin’ Dimensionals

“On the CASE” Notes
Your Step-by-Step Guide

1.  Score the Very Vanilla Thick cardstock at 4-1/2″. Fold and crease to form the card base.

2.  Adhere the designer paper to the card base.

3.  Die cut a Very Vanilla using the largest Stitched Shapes circle. Adhere to the card base with dimensionals.

4.  Die cut the word “Cheers” from Red Glimmer Paper. Adhere to the circle.

cheers holiday card5.  Ink the “Cheers” sentiment in Mossy Meadow. Stamp onto Whisper White cardstock. Snip a “V” in the left end.  Adhere to the circle using dimensionals.

6.  Ink “To You & Yours” with Versamark, and stamp onto Pretty Peacock cardstock. Heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Adhere to the circle.

7. Snip out the ornaments from the designer paper, and adhere to the card base as shown. Accent the Mossy Meadow ornament with a red rhinestone.

Easy Christmas Card for PP464

It doesn’t get much easier than this easy Christmas card! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

easy Christmas cardThis week the lovely LeAnne is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge:  Say It Loud! The goal is to make a large sentiment the focal point of your card.  I am showcasing the beautiful Merry Christmas sentiment from Stampin’ Up!’s Christmas Rose stamp set.  This set, which is part of the Christmastime Is Here Suite, will be available November 1st. Don’t you love this font?

The Frosted Frames dies are a large sentiment’s best friend!  Die cut from Copper Foil, this ornate frame truly complements an elegant sentiment.  Holiday Rhinestones are the perfect accents to add a bit of sparkle.

easy Christmas cardAlthough I heat embossed the sentiment, to make this card even easier to create, one can stamp the sentiment in Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic ink.

What a perfect layout for those of you who have lots of holiday cards to create:   Copper Foil, Celestial Copper Delicata Metallic Ink and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper; Gold Foil, Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink, and Wrapped in Plaid 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper;  and a variety of cardstock, ink colors, and Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. Of course, if you love traditional holiday colors, you will LOVE using Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper with Garden Green and Real Red.  To be perfectly honest, I can’t wait to try them all!
