Geared Up Garage Card of Endearment for SRC

It’s time for the Stamp Review Crew: Geared Up Garage Edition!  The Stamp Review Crew is a group of international Stampin’ Up! demonstrators whose mission is to do a blog hop on the first, third and fifth Mondays of each month. Our hops are unique because each of us features the same stamp set used in a variety of ways, giving you loads of inspiration for that set. The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog. You will be able to click through all of our hops at any time, whenever you want.

This week we are featuring the Geared Up Garage set. If you are following along in order, you have just arrived from the amazing Charlet Mallet.  After visiting me, you will continue to the next stop, the incredible Heidi Baks.  Both of these artists are rock stars of the Stampin’ Up! universe.  Be prepared to be inspired as you travel along on today’s hop!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

There is something retro about today’s card that just tugs at the heartstrings.  Maybe it is the adorable Voltmeter pattern paper…

One Layer Birthday Card for The Paper Players

In the mood for a one layer birthday card? I’ve got one! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

one layer birthday cardThis week, the Queen of Clean, Jaydee, has a One Layer Wonder CAS challenge for us.  You know me…I LOVE layers, but I am always up for a challenge.  I made sure there was only one layer; I left plenty of white space; and it’s pretty simple and uncluttered. I hope you enjoy it!

Watercoloring with Blender Pens and ink is the featured technique on this feminine birthday card.  The image was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento, and watercolored using Old Olive and Highland Heather inks.  The entire image was then outlined in Balmy Blue to add a wee bit of depth.

Butterfly Note Card for On the CASE

Looking for a nifty note card, complete with a trio of butterflies? Look no more! I’ll be giving you the step-by-step “how-to’s” in today’s On the CASE!  While I continue to break down samples from current Stampin’ Up!® catalogs, my On the CASE partner, Nicole, is using her investigative skills to solve CASES throughout the crafting universe. Let the fun begin!

Today I am CASEing a note card from the Occasions Catalog.  It features the Butterfly Gala bundle. Enjoy!

Occasions Catalog – Front Cover

Butterfly Note Card

butterfly Note CardI have never denied my love for the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I especially love enhancing the pattern by adding ink…and that is exactly what drew my eyes to this cover card.  I loved how the Whisper White ink made the lacy pattern stand out. I also liked the versatility of this card. It would be suitable for so many different occasions simply by switching out the sentiment.  I know I will be creating several of these in different colors, with birthday and thank you sentiments, for future use.
