I’ll be giving you the step-by-step “how-to’s” in today’s On the CASE!  While I continue to break down samples from current Stampin’ Up!® catalogs, my On the CASE partner, Nicole, is using her investigative skills to solve CASES throughout the crafting universe. Butterfly Note Card

butterfly Note CardI have never denied my love for the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I especially love enhancing the pattern by adding ink…and that is exactly what drew my eyes to this cover card.  I loved how the Whisper White ink made the lacy pattern stand out. I also liked the versatility of this card. It would be suitable for so many different occasions simply by switching out the sentiment.  I know I will be creating several of these in different colors, with birthday and thank you sentiments, for future use.

It doesn’t get much easier than today’s card!  I selected colors of cardstock which best represented the colors of the rainbow (ROY G BIV), and ran them through the Big Shot with Rectangle Stitched framelits.

easy rainbow cardThe sentiment is from the Incredible Like You stamp set.  Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots are the perfect accents not only for the sentiment, but also for the butterfly.  This little beauty was snipped away from the die cut, which was created using the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits dies.

Romantic Spring Card for FF0029

spring cardA friend of mine is getting married, and I wanted to create a card that not only fits her personality, but one which also reflects her style and her wedding.  Her bouquet is going to be native flowers, while the tables at the reception are going to be decorated with simple greenery.  What could be better than a romantic spring card in green, which happens to fit right in with today’s Festive Friday Challenge: Spring and/or Green!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

This beautiful paper is from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper collection…just perfect for someone who is into nature.

romantic spring cardFor the focal image, I copied a bouquet I had created earlier.  The die cut embossed leaves add a touch of texture, while the Shimmery White stitched circle provides just a tinge of sparkle. My friend knows I often accent my cards with pearls.  They will serve as a sweet reminder that this card was crafted with love.

romantic spring cardI hope my friend loves her card as much as I loved making it for her.  The nice thing is that if you would like to create your own spring card,  you can always switch out the sentiment and use this card for lots of occasions.  Just click on the tutorial button below to receive your a tutorial which you can save, or print off.  Don’t forget to visit the 2019 PDF Tutorial Gallery  for more free tutorials.
