Clean, simple and cute! These are three words which describe this Modern Heart “love you” card.  Yep! It’s time for another On the CASE with Ann and Nicole!

I love you card

I am usually not one who likes stamp sets like this one…usually! But this one stole my heart, with its framework heart and beautiful fonts.  I LOVE it, and I love this clean and simple card.  Enjoy today’s “CASE of the Modern Heart”!

Colors of the Day

Stamp:  Modern Heart
Paper:  Whisper White Thick cardstock (4-1/4″ x 11″), Whisper White cardstock (3-7/8″ x 5-1/4″, 3-5/8″ x 5″,  2″ x 2″)
Inks:  Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Versamark
Other: Heat Tool, Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon,  Metallic Pearls, SNAIL, Stampin’ Dimensionals

“On the CASE” Notes
Your Step-by-Step Guide

1. Stamp the “swoosh” image in Petal Pink.

2. Stamp the large heart image in Versamark, and heat emboss with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

3. Stamp the smaller heart image in Night of Navy as shown. Adhere the stamped panel to the 3-5/8″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Add to the card base with dimensionals.

4. Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy. Accent with small hearts stamped in Petal Pink. Punch out with the 1-1/2″ circle punch. Loop 9″ of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon behind the sentiment circle as shown. Adhere the sentiment circle to the card base with dimensionals.

5. Accent with gold metallic pearls.

6. Enjoy!

A masculine card with a sailing theme! Batten down the hatches! It’s time for the Stamp Review Crew Sailing Home Edition!

It’s time for the Stamp Review Crew: Sailing Home Edition! If this is your very first visit to one of our hops, the Stamp Review Crew is a group of international Stampin’ Up! demonstrators whose mission is to do a blog hop on the first, third and fifth Mondays of each month. The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

As I have with some of my other cards, I let the designer paper dictate the stamped image and the sentiment. I stamped the compass in Night of Navy, and added a silver foil needle.   Old Olive vellum seaweed and a Crumb Cake rope die cut draw the eye in.

Gold Embossed Thank You for The Paper Players

Looking for a gold embossed thank you that is fit for a queen? It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

gold embossed thank youI love a gold embossed card with a touch of elegance, and today’s gold embossed thank you card is indeed elegant and feminine. It features the Fanciful Fragrance stamp set from the Annual Catalog, a set which appeals to my vintage style.  I thought this trio of perfume bottles would be perfect for Anne Marie’s sketch challenge.  I hope you enjoy today’s post.

The unexpected! I usually do not think of gingham as being particularly elegant. However, this adorable Gingham pattern, in Crumb Cake, formed the perfect background for today’s card.  Obviously it coordinates well with both the Crumb Cake cardstock panel, which I embossed using the Scripty 3D folder, and the gold foil, which I added for a touch of elegance.
