Poinsettia Christmas Card for The Paper Players

Poinsettias are undoubtedly one of the most recognizable of all plants. Not only do I love to decorate my home with them during the holiday season, I LOVE to include them on my Christmas cards. I hope you enjoy today’s easy Poinsettia Christmas card. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

Poinsettia Christmas Card

This week it is the super-talented Joanne’s turn to host our monthly color challenge. Don’t you love this trio of colors, accented with a touch of Silver or Gold? As you can tell, I decided on a punch of gold. How about you? Team Silver or Team Gold? I can’t wait to see what YOU create!!!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Don’t you love a card that packs a “Wow” but is oh-so-easy to create? Today’s card is that type of card. Now easy doesn’t necessarily mean quick. There is layering – scrumptious plush paper on top of brushed metallic cardstock – but layering isn’t difficult. There is die cutting – metallic leaves and berries, as well as die cut images from pattern paper – but die cutting isn’t hard. There is heat embossing involved with the gorgeous scripted “Merry Christmas” sentiment – but heat embossing is fun! I really hate to tell you how quickly this card comes together, especially if you take advantage of my free tutorial which includes all the paper measurements!
