The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

This is one of my favorite designs for a gift card holder. I am not certain who first created this style, as it has been around for years.  I am sure that its longevity is due to its versatility. By simply switching out the paper, sentiment and embellishments, you can use it for any occasion.  Another great feature is that you could very easily create a coordinating card to go with it.

The Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon, which coordinates perfectly with the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper, makes beautiful double bows.  Isn’t the Gold Glitz Delicata Ink pretty? It gives a look similar to heat embossing without the fuss!

  1. Beautiful! Love all the special touches you added to create such an elegant gift card holder. Love that bow and the pearls too!

  2. Such a gorgeous gift card holder, Ann! The fluffy ribbon and beautiful DSP make it extra fancy, too. Of course, there is pearl detail…where there is Ann, there are pearls. Bug hugs!

  3. This card is so beautiful, Ann. I just copied the free tutorial and can’t wait to make it for several people I have in mind. Your directions are so clear, and I’m glad I have the Shares I ordered through you to make my card!
    Happy Fall to you!

  4. That paper and ribbon combo is just luscious! I especially love the gold pearls, though. What an unexpected, but perfect embellishment!

  5. Ann, I love this project. When I click on tutorials, I can see it but it prints blank. Any suggestions? I may not be the only one with this problem but I admit I’m not very tech savvy! Love your work always!
