“Change can be beautiful” is such a lovely thought. Its use in the sentiment “Autumn teaches us that change can be beautiful” is one of the reasons I purchased the Autumn Leaves bundle from the September – December Mini Catalog. I used “Copper” as my “Any Color of Your Choice” to create my fall confection of leaves. As you can see, today’s card is rich and full of amazing texture. Of course, you can also go with a much “cleaner” design, as you can see in the wonderful design team inspiration cards. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s card is an excellent example of how Stampin’ Up!’s products coordinate so well with each other. I used paper from five different designer series collections to create the elements I used on this card. Fresh As A Daisy provided me with Pebbled Path and Wild Wheat patterns, while the stunning Copper Clay with copper foil accents paper used for the large leaf is from the All About Autumn series. The Pretty Peacock papers are from Earthen Elegance and Masterfully Made. The amazing veins on the leaves and the twigs behind them were die cut from Oxidized Copper specialty paper. Of course, this card would have an entirely different look if the center panel was placed on a Very Vanilla card base. In fact, I think I will do that with a second card. But today, the dark, rich side won me over.

Nueve’s Notes
Hey, everyone! It’s me, Nueve! I want to share the ad Mom had designed for me for a dog magazine. It uses a ‘spirational kwote from a famous person named Nelson Mandela. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge many years ago. Mom loves ‘spirational kwotes. Today she told me she did NOT need another leaf set, but she had to buy the Autumn Leaves set because it had a ‘spirational saying in it. She said she has seen lots of changes as she has gotten older, and she needs to be reminded that change, like wrinkly skin and gray hair, can be beautiful. My mom is 11 in dog years.
