With an adorable name like “Snowflake Kisses”, how could I not purchase this beautiful bundle? As I made today’s card, snowflake songs from my childhood danced through my head. Although none of these songs mentioned snowflake kisses, it was certainly a trip down memory lane. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.
This week, it is the lovely and talented LeAnne’s turn to host our monthly color challenge. What beautiful hues she has selected for us! While I thought they were perfect for a non-traditional colored snowflake card, I can’t wait to see what YOU create. However, before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my incredible “Teamies” some “Comment Love”. They work so hard to inspire you each week, and your comments brighten their day!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
I am a lazy stamper. We all know I am more than willing to let beautiful designer series paper do all the work. But for today’s card, I am doing something a little different. Instead of paper being the workhorse, the fabulous Snowflake Kisses dies are stepping in to lend a helping hand. I simply die cut the base from Lost Lagoon Everyday Happiness designer series paper. Next I die cut lots of snowflakes from Lemon Lolly and Soft Seafoam Subtles 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. The snowflakes were arranged in a cascade down the side. Faceted Snowflakes embellishments add sparkle to their centers. The Let It Snow sentiment, from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set, was inked in Lost Lagoon, and accented with smaller snowflakes. The finishing touch was a bow crafted from Lost Lagoon soft cording.
