lacy hello card

This card features the A Little Lace bundle, which will be available June 4th, when the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog goes live. Isn’t the Stitched Lace die stunning? While this card features the new In Colors Pretty Peacock and Terracotta Tile, the sky is the limit on the color combinations you can use with this versatile layout.  While the version in the catalog is not a standard size, it can easily be sized to 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ tall.  I hope you will give this card a try!

Clean and Simple Hello Card for PP442

Ready to do a little watercoloring on a clean and simple Hello card? It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players.

Clean and Simple Hello CardThis week Laurie is hosting a Clean and Simple: Plants challenge.  I have been having so much fun watercoloring on Shimmery White cardstock that I decided to do it again.  This time I am using the beautiful Magnolia image from the Good Morning Magnolia set (available June 4th). I hope you enjoy today’s clean and simple Hello card.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

The star of today’s card is the watercolored magnolia image. It was stamped in Jet Black StazOn onto Shimmery White cardstock, and watercolored using Aqua Painters and inks.

Clean and Simple Hello CardOld Olive and Mossy Meadow were used to color the leaves, while Petal Pink and Calypso Coral were used on the petals.  Daffodil Delight was my color of choice for the center.

Clean and Simple Hello CardThe rhinestones which accent this card were colored using a Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend.  The coordinate beautifully with the Mossy Meadow sentiment and Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine bow.

Card for a crafty friendIsn’t this one of the cutest cards ever!  It uses so many fabulous products which are part of Stampin’ Up!’s Follow Your Art Suite,  available  in the new catalog June 4th.   I opted to just focus on the Creativity Day aspect of the challenge. Enjoy!

Today’s card is all about the details, beginning with the center focal point.

Card for a crafty friendA stitched circle, embossed with the Subtle embossing folder is the perfect backdrop for the watercolored images. A felt heart and scallop trim, found in the amazing Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit,  provide texture. Of course, I could not resist adding a few pearls.

card for a crafty friendIn addition to the cute felt pieces found in the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit, I also used one of the mini-paper clips, Baker’s Twine and adorable charm.

To add to the “crafty” vibe, I embossed one of the layers with the Button Button embossing folder.  I will definitely be sending out versions of this card to my crafty friends.  I think they will be a big hit.  I can’t wait to hear what you think!
