Looking for a not so ordinary card for a special friend? How about this Double Z fold hello card? It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week I have the honor of being the host for our monthly theme challenge.  I selected Fun and Fancy Folds.  I went with an old favorite, a double Z fold card. I can’t wait to see what you create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

I suffer from “fun fold phobia”.  I see a fun fold, and think to myself, “That’s too hard! I could never do that!” But the double Z fold isn’t difficult at all!

It’s just a matter of scoring.  To make the task easier, I used 12″ x 12″ 2019-2021 In Color cardstock (Item #149703). This is a great fold for showcasing the luscious Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. What really sets this card off are the gold accents from the Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper.  Of course, a few Gilded Gems and a triple bow both help to up the WOW factor.  All of the details, including paper measurements, can be found in the FREE pdf tutorial.

I am excited to be back with our latest “kitorial”,  featuring the versatile Posted for You bundle.   My cohort in crime, Wendy Klein,  of Splitcoaststampers Creative Crew fame, has designed a shabby chic garden card for you, which incorporates greens and pinks against a neutral background – a card with the feel of a fresh garden.   As for me, I have designed a classic card with Misty Moonlight and Whisper White that really showcases the stamps in this set.  Here’s a peek to pique your interest:

Ready to learn more? Here’s how it works!

Create With Ann & Wendy is your chance to enjoy creating designs created by Ann Schach and Wendy Klein. Each release centers around a featured Stamp Set (or sometimes stamp bundle), which you purchase along with a “kit” and a tutorial featuring a design from each designer. Fondly named a “kitorial”, each kit you purchase will feature a tutorial from Ann (and coordinating precuts/embellishments); and a tutorial from Wendy (with coordinating precuts/embellishments) along with the featured stamp set (or bundle). You will receive supplies in your kit to complete 5 cards of each design (10 cards total), with envelopes.  Note:  For designs which use designer series papers, the paper colors/patterns in each kit may vary from the original pictured sample, but will still be equally as lovely.

Ready to get started?
  • The price for the Posted for You Kitorial is just $59.95, and includes the Posted for You Bundle,  all pre-cut cardstock, die cuts, embossed pieces, embellishments, envelopes and shipping. You will need to supply your own ink, Stampin’ Blends, emboss powders (when needed), and adhesives to finish your kit. Are you ready for some stamping fun? Just send an email to Ann at kimschach@msn.com or Wendy at wendyklein@doggonedelightfulstampin.com. The designer you contacted will send you a PayPal invoice within 24 hours. Note: If you already own this stamp set/bundle,  you may substitute your choice of stamp set/bundle of equal or lesser value.
  • Deadline for signing up: Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, 4:00 PST/5:00 MST / 6:00 CST / 7:00 EST. Stamp sets will be ordered on July 7th after the sign up time.  We will be adhering strictly to this deadline.
  • PDFs will be emailed to you upon receipt of your PayPal payment.
  • Your stamp set will be mailed to you within 1 – 2 business days after the designer receives them from Stampin’ Up!  Your kit supplies will be mailed to you with your stamp set.
