Merry Merlot Poinsettia Christmas Card

Merry Merlot poinsettia petals? Silver foil leaves? Why not! Both are featured on today’s Merry Merlot Poinsettia Christmas card. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

Merry Merlot Poinsettia Christmas Card

This week, the amazingly talented Joanne is hosting our theme challenge. What could be more appropriate at this time of the year than “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”! While searching for an image which I felt was iconic, I once again pulled out the Poinsettia Petals bundle to create this classic Christmas card, this time featuring a Merry Merlot poinsettia. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

On a card with lots of texture, including Plush Poinsettia specialty paper and a panel embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder, the star of today’s card is the Merry Merlot Poinsettia. The blossoms were heat embossed in silver, and accented with silver leaves and berry twigs. Of course, everything is better with a wonderful frosting of Wink of Stella!
