Masculine Birthday Card with Leaves

Who needs a masculine birthday card to add to their card stash? I think this one, with metallic leaves, would be perfect for those men in your life who have fall birthdays.  It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week, the fabulous Jaydee has a theme challenge for us:  Masculine Birthday.  I went with a clean design with few embellishments, which truly allows the beauty of the brushed metallic leaves to shine.  I can’t wait to see what wonderful masculine cards you create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

The In Good Taste designer series paper collection was the source of these wonderful papers. With their photographic images and visual textures, they add so much to a card with very little effort.

If you look closely, you can see that I embossed the light hued woodgrain pattern using the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder.  It adds a delicious touch of texture.  But of course, it’s those brushed metallic leaves that steal the show. With a focal point this pretty, who needs embellishments?
