Laurie is hosting our monthly color challenge, and selected Real Red, Tranquil Tide, and Basic Gray as her choices. Because I do not have Tranquil Tide, I substituted Shaded Spruce. I can’t wait to see what you create with this trio of colors!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Because I didn’t want my card to look like I had used Christmas colors, I used green sparingly, and instead decided to focus on red. The adorable Schnauzer is from the Playful Pets designer series paper collection. I simply used the coordinating Pets die to cut it out. How easy is that?
The special touches, such as the trinket and the ribbon are part of the Playful Pets Suite Collection. Needless to say, I bought the Suite. I know the cards I make with this set will be a big hit with my dog loving friends!

A really cute card! The dog reminds me of Scamp from Lady and the Tramp! Love the added trinket on the collar and all of that red with the gray coloring on the Schnauzer!
