The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s bright and cheery card is simple to create. There are no difficult techniques, just a lot of fun stamping and layering. Of course, every card is easier when you know the paper measurements, so here they are!
Paper Measurements:
- Pool Party cardstock (4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ to form the card base)
- Pretty Peacock cardstock ( 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″)
- Whisper White cardstock (a little larger than 3″ x 4-3/8″ and 1-11/16″ x 1-3/16″ in order to accommodate these measurements of Stitched Rectangle dies, scrap pieces large enough to stamp the images)
- Dinoroar Designer Series Paper (4″ x 5-1/4″)
Instructions:
1. Mat the designer paper onto Pretty Peacock cardstock. Adhere to the card base.
2. Die cut the 3″ x 4-3/8″ Stitched Rectangle panel. Adhere to the card base.
3. Ink the following images in these colors: Palm Leaves (5) – Old Olive; Tree Trunk – Crumb Cake; Pteranodon – Pool Party; Checks on the Pteranodon’s wings – Pretty Peacock; Brontosaurus – Mango Melody; Spots on the Brontosaurus’ body – Pretty Peacock; Upright Dino- Flirty Flamingo; Spines on the upright dino’s back – Pretty Peacock. Die cut using the matching Dino Dies. Adhere to the card as shown, using dimensionals for the Pteranodon and upright dino.
4. Ink the sentiment in Pretty Peacock. Die cut using the 1-11/16″ x 1-3/16″ Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere to the card with dimensionals.
5. Accent with three Lovely Lipstick Dinoroar Enamel Shapes.

This card takes me back to the days when Brady was heading out to elementary school. I would always try to tuck something fun into his little back pack for him to discover. He was such a dinosaur fan, and I know he would have LOVED this card. In fact, I am going to send it to him, even if it is 25 years too late. I know he will get a hoot out of it.

Oh my word, Ann, this is the best! I love how you made a card for your son! My boys LOVED dinosaurs, too! I read so many dinosaur books that I know more about them than you would think. LOL! The colors are perfect and you certainly rocked my challenge! XX
What a super fun and colourful card Ann! Both of my two are older now but I’m still tempted by this set and that cool paper – I don’t think you are ever too old for dinosaurs really!
Perfectly placed dinosaurs! Love all the colors together!
Hi Anne! An eye-full of fun going on here! You probably know I love this Dino Days set, and your card is great! Can’t help smiling!
This is so cute….since I have four nephews, I am scratching my head as to why I haven’t gotten this set myself? And obviously, it’s for boys of all ages, right? I need to remedy that, it’s especially fun with those enamel dots and that cool DSP!
Very cute! I think the dinos are adorable, what a fun card for back to school!
Your card is RAWR-some, Ann! Love those adorable dinos and I’m sure Brady will too. You are never too old for some encouragement from your mom, that’s for sure. That pink T-Rex is making me smile. So stinking CUTE!
Your card is adorable Ann. I love that you are sending your card to your son Brady. I ‘ll bet he will have a big smile on his face. I know I did when I saw it. Thank you for sharing it.

This card is so cute Anne! I love it! Brady will get a chuckle, but he will love it! All kids love getting handmade cards from their crafty Moms at any age. My daughter and son-in-law included. Thanks for sharing and I love the PDF Tutorial Gallery.
