Ready to do a little watercoloring on a clean and simple Hello card? It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players.
This week Laurie is hosting a Clean and Simple: Plants challenge. I have been having so much fun watercoloring on Shimmery White cardstock that I decided to do it again. This time I am using the beautiful Magnolia image from the Good Morning Magnolia set (available June 4th). I hope you enjoy today’s clean and simple Hello card.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
The star of today’s card is the watercolored magnolia image. It was stamped in Jet Black StazOn onto Shimmery White cardstock, and watercolored using Aqua Painters and inks.
Old Olive and Mossy Meadow were used to color the leaves, while Petal Pink and Calypso Coral were used on the petals. Daffodil Delight was my color of choice for the center.
The rhinestones which accent this card were colored using a Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend. The coordinate beautifully with the Mossy Meadow sentiment and Mossy Meadow Baker’s Twine bow.

Your coloring is so soft and pretty.
Ann, this is amazing! All of my magnolia’s are blooming and the smell is heavenly! Your coloring is soooo gorgeous! The corrugated background is perfect to showcase this bloom! BIG SMILE! XX
This is stunning Ann – your watercolouring is beautiful and the soft shimmer adds a pretty touch. The corrugated background is a great way to add interest to a CAS card – it is reminiscent of the pots in the inspiration photo.
What a stunning image, and your watercoloring is amazing! I think Shimmery White is a great base for it, too! Such a pretty card in pretty colors!
love that magnolia flower …. but you NAILED it!
Another winner. Flower will be a treat to color when I have the time. Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous coloring, Ann! We had the same idea to pair the magnolia with the Corrugated embossing, and I love it!
This is amazing Ann! I have a feeling that it looks even better in person with that Shimmer White cardstock, as well. Your watercoloring is absolutely stunning on this image. Of course, that trio of rhinestones is the perfect finishing touch. Wow!
The coloring is so pretty! I bet that shimmer is even more beautiful in person…I love that paper!
Clean and simple but a beauty, Ann!!
