Floral Spring Card for PP431

In the mood for a floral spring card? It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!

floral spring cardThis week, the lovely Anne Marie has a theme challenge for us – Spring Fever. Taking my cue from the badge,  I created a card with flowers and butterflies. I hope you enjoy my floral spring card!

The gorgeous Delightfully Detail Laser Cut Specialty Paper, Vanilla on one side and White on the other, forms the base of today’s card. I selected a lacy floral panel, and used the Very Vanilla side, matting it onto Soft Sea Foam cardstock. I then adhered it to a Petal Pink card base. Did you know that you can earn this beautiful paper for free with a $50 order (before tax and shipping) during Sale-A-Bration? Yep..it’s available as part of a special third release.

floral spring cardThe center focal point was created using the Floral Frames stamp set and coordinating Foliage Frame framelits.  The leaves on the stamped image were colored using blender pens and Mossy Meadow ink.

floral spring cardThree different kinds of foliage were die cut from Mossy Meadow, Soft Sea Foam, and Vellum cardstocks, using dies from the Foliage Frames framelits collection.  They were randomly adhered under the edge of the image.

floral spring cardThe sentiment, from the All That You Are stamp set, was inked in Soft Suede and stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  It was punched out using the new Sale-A-Bration Coordination product, the Story Label Punch,  and adhered with dimensionals. The blossoms were inked in Crumb Cake and stamped onto Petal Pink cardstock.  Butterflies and pearls were used as accents. I have been using butterflies quite often on my cards. I think they make lovely accents.
