It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players! This week the the lovely Joanne is hosting a perfect theme challenge for this time of the year: Love is in the air!
I whipped up this pastel valentine for my husband, using the Bike Ride set from the Annual Catalog. Of course, I just had to use the yummy Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the Occasions Catalog. Enjoy!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips – Pastel Valentine
If you like texture, you’ll love the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I paired it up with hearts from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits, and the look is romantic and vintage.
The basket is filled with a small Be Mine scalloped heart. The sentiment is from the Meant to Be stamp set. Both are available in the Meant to Be Bundle. A Pool Party and Silver Baker’s Twine bow and a small Blushing Bride heart are the perfect accents.
Usually when I create a card, I always run it past my husband for suggestions and approval, but since this one is for him, I want to keep it a surprise. So what do you think of today’s card? Won’t you let me know in today’s comment?

Absolutely adorable, Ann! I love how you paired the bike with the hearts and that fabulous lace background. I love the texture it adds so much. Your husband is going to love this little work of art!
Ann, this is just fabulous! Your hubby will LOVE this! The embossed background and those gorgeous hearts are perfect! I am a bike rider too, so this card just makes me smile! I hope you are having a great week, My Friend! XX
Ann this is super FANTASTIC and I love the color combo and vintage feel. I remember my fat tire SCHWINN bike! Best ride ever! Hugs
Beautiful card! I’m loving your colors and textures and I know your hubby will love it as well!
Well how very lovely Ann – the pastels and lace embossing work really well together for a vintage feel and I love this as a background for that sweet bicycle – it’s just a shame it can’t be converted into a ‘bicycle made for two’! I hope your hubby loves it as much as I do and appreciates the surprise!
You always inspire me, Ann! The color combination here is perfect for a vintage style valentine card. Lucky husband!
Ann, I love the bicycle with the lace embossing! You achieved a wonderful, vintage look!
So cute Ann! I love all the embossing!
‘Love’ly Valentine card. I am certain Kim will ‘approve’ when he receives it. The colors and vintage look are beautiful.
Wow, I love this card, your attention to color and detail is one of the best in this field. Thank you for sharing.
Ann, love all the texture and that bicycle is fabulous. I also love the jaunty angle of the sentiment tag
