Exciting Stampin’ Up! Changes

Stampin’ Up! released some exciting news just this morning involving their stamps, packaging and Stampin’ Write Markers. Here’s the scoop!

Stampin’ Up! decided to discontinue their cling stamp line due to challenges in sourcing the necessary raw materials. While they currently have access to enough raw materials to continue production for the time being, the supply has become increasingly inconsistent, and certain key raw materials are no longer being manufactured. They are making this change now to ensure a smoother, more strategic transition—with minimal disruption. They will continue to offer a wide range of photopolymer stamps to support various artistic styles and techniques. Here is the exact timeline:

What’s HappeningWhen
Photopolymer TransitionStarting with November 2025 Online Exclusives, all new stamps will be photopolymer.
Last Printed Catalogs to Include Cling StampsSeptember–December 2025 Mini Catalog and 2025–2026 Annual Catalog
Last Online Exclusives to Include Cling StampsSeptember 2025 Online Exclusives
Mini Catalog Cling Transition*In December 2025, all cling stamps in the September–December 2025 Mini Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the mini catalog will carry over.
Annual Catalog Cling Transition*In April 2026, all cling stamps in the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last. No cling stamps from the annual catalog will carry over.
Online Exclusives Cling TransitionCling stamps released in Online Exclusives through September 2025 will be supported—based on demand—until April 2026 at the latest. Some will likely discontinue prior to April.
Final TransitionIn April 2026, all remaining cling stamps across our offering will move to Last Chance Products and be available while supplies last.

We have also decided to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, we’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling.

What’s HappeningWhen
Phasing Out Stampin’ Write MarkersOn August 20, 2025, all Stampin’ Write Markers will move to Last Chance Products* and be available while supplies last.

As part of their transition away from cling stamps, Stampin’ Up! is excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, they are able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together. The new packaging is similar to their current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

What’s HappeningWhen
New Photopolymer Stamps and Dies in New PackagingAll new stamps and dies starting with November Online Exclusives will come in the new packaging.
Transition for Photopolymer Stamps Released Prior to November 2025*Photopolymer stamps released prior to November will transition to the new packaging with a rolling change. During this time, you and your customers may receive some stamps in old packaging and some in new. Transition will vary across markets based on inventory levels.
No Transition for Dies Released Prior to November 2025Dies released prior to November will not transition to the new packaging. They will be sold in their existing packaging until they are discontinued.
No Transition for Cling StampsNo cling stamps will transition to the new packaging.
  • New packaging measures 5-5/8″ x 9″ (14.3 x 22.9 cm).
  • Stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easy to store bundles and coordinating products together.
  • Packaging is clear with an insert that displays stamp or die artwork for quick and easy identification—yes, both stamp and die packaging will now show artwork!
  • Larger packaging dimensions allow SU! to showcase more stamp artwork at 100% on the insert.
  • Sleek, slim design will help you store more in less space.
  • Envelope closure includes a tuck-in flap for quick and easy opening and closing.
  • Packaging is sized to fit a variety of organization systems.

Here is a look at the new packaging, as well as a Sneak Peak at one of the upcoming November Online Exclusives:

Turtle-y Cute And Totally Easy

It’s been a busy time here at the Schach house this week. During times like this, what could be better than a card that is “turtle-y” cute and totally easy? It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!

Turtle-y cute and totally easy

This week the amazing Elizabeth is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge. The theme she has selected for us is Critters! The animal lover in me had so much fun with this challenge. I hope you will, too. Just remember it is Clean and Simple week. Make sure your creations meet the following criteria:

Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

We can’t wait to see what YOU create. But before you head off to gather up your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my “Teamies” some “Comment Love”. It brightens our day!

turtle-y cute and totally easy

Oh my gosh! When it comes to critters, few are cuter than the comical turtles featured in the Turtle-y Cute Designer Series Paper collection. The most difficult part of today’s card was deciding which cutie I wanted to feature. This adorable slowpoke won the race, although I wonder how it ever gets anywhere with turtle toes that do not reach the pedals. I used the Pressed Flowers embossing folder to create the background for this fussy-cut image. Shades of Green Hexagon embellishments accent the coordinating sentiment from the Turtle-y Awsome stamp set. What more can I say? It is definitely turtle-y cute and totally easy!

Hi, everybody! It’s me, Nueve! I have fun news to share. Even though I still cannot go up and down stairs or jump, I get to go to my first obedience show. I might even be showing when you read this on Sunday, ’cause I am showing Saturday and Sunday. Please send me good thoughts!

Turtle-y cute and totally easy

Mom’s been really busy ’cause I got ‘cepted into a special obedience class. We go to that class on Mondays. Then I go to a regular obedience class on Thursdays. Sixxy and Uncle Q get to go to that one with me. They also get to show this weekend, too. Sixxy only gets to show one time, ’cause Mom was worried she wouldn’t behave. She is not going to be wearing her leash, so she really has to listen.

Turtle-y cute and totally easy

She’s been pretty good in class, though. She likes going to class ’cause everyone tells her she is beautiful. Pink is her favorite color, and she gets to wear a pretty pink collar. That makes her happy. Uncle Q gets to show with me in a special class called “Brace” where our leashes are hooked together and we do the obedience things like heel, sit, down and lots more at the same time. He also gets to show by himself once, too. He only needs to qualify ONE more time to have more letters placed behind his name. He would have already had his new title last year, but he followed a bug outside the ring. That was a big “no-no”.

Turtle-y cute and totally easy

But that’s okay. Mom said everybody laughed. Because Uncle Q is getting older and has arthur-itis, he might not get to show very many more times. My paws are crossed he does good. He LOVES having people watch him in the ring.

Turtle-y cute and totally easy

As for me, Mom bought a new sloth ball for me ’cause I was such a good boy in class. I’ll be cheering for Sixxy and Uncle Q this weekend AND I will be as obedient as I can be. Being supportive and being obedient are just part of my job. I am a Working Dog. I am Good Boy, Nueve!

A Color Challenge From Claire

It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players! This week we have a color challenge from Claire, our sweet hostess. When I first saw her hues, my mind turned to Halloween. After all, Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie are three of my “go-to” spooky colors. Even the addition of Cherry Cobbler as a fourth color did not sway me from thinking Halloween. However, I decided to go a different route with this color challenge from Claire, as you shall see!

color challenge from Claire

Yep, I went the floral route, and I can’t say I regret my decision. If only you could see this card in real life, with the vibrancy of the Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler petals! While I went the floral route, there are lots of options to pursue with these colors. I can’t wait to see what YOU create. But before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my “Teamies” some “Comment Love”. It brightens our day!

color challenge from Claire

Today’s lovely blossoms from the Gallery Blooms stamp set were colored using Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I LOVE how the petal colors blended so well. They look so vibrant in person. I used the Gallery Bloom dies to create a frame from Marbled Elegance paper. Although it appears black in the photo, the lattice die cut, made using the retired Linked Together die, is actually Blackberry Bliss, as is the sentiment. I wanted to add texture to the overall design, so I went with one of my favorite retired embossing folders … the Crosshatch pattern from the Basics 3D embossing folders collection. However, any subtle pattern would have worked. Because I love the elegant look of Cherry Cobbler and gold, I matted the frame onto gold Textured Metallic paper and added three gold Flower Accents. Out of all the cards I have made throughout the years, I think this is one of my favorites.
