We are starting the month of April off with some frosty weather and even some snow here in Iowa. Hopefully it won’t be much longer until the sun greets us with a warm hello. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.
It’s theme week, and the lovely Anne Marie has a fun theme for us: Sunshine & Rainbows. You may use a sun, rainbow or feature a rainy-day theme like umbrellas, rain boots, etc. on your card. While I used a sun on my card, I am so excited to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
For this week’s theme challenge, here comes the sun! The adorable Sunny Days designer series paper, which was a free Sale-A-Bration item a few months ago, has a pattern which was the perfect choice for a cheery backdrop. For the embossed Very Vanilla panel, I turned to the workhorse in my embossing folder stable, the crosshatch folder. This folder is one of three in the Basics 3D embossing folder collection. The honor of being the focal image went to this one from the retiring Circle Sayings stamp set. This is an adorable, very versatile set which I overlooked for far too long. It is still available to order. Three Misty Moonlight gems and a Starry Sky bow add a touch of sparkle.
