Don’t we all know of someone who could use a few words of encouragement? Today’s card of support does just that. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week, Laurie has a wonderful sketch for us.  I love it because it is so versatile. It was perfect for creating this card of support for a friend who is going through some tough times.  It uses items from the Botanical Prints Product Medley, and was so quick to create. I can’t wait to see what you make using Laurie’s sketch!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Product Medleys, such as the Botanical Prints one, makes creating a card a breeze.  The Pretty Peacock die cut background adds instant “WOW”, don’t you think? And what about the die cut fruit that is accenting the center panel? Pretty nifty, eh? And oh so easy!

A gold foil banner and a few gold foil layers add a touch of elegance! The only thing I needed to stamp was the sentiment.

Sparkly Friendship Card

In this age of social distancing, what better way to reach out and “touch” someone than with a sparkly friendship card? It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week,  Anne Marie is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge, which has a sparkly theme.  What do we mean by CAS?

  • Minimal layers and embellishments
  • Plenty of open space, aka “white” space
  • Simple and uncluttered

For my touch of sparkle, I pulled out Rose glimmer paper to create this Free As A Bird card.  I can’t wait to see what sparkly confections YOU create! Enjoy today’s card and free printable tutorial.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

You can’t escape the sparkle on today’s card. Rose is one of my favorite glimmer papers. It looks great with my focal point, which is from the Free As A Bird stamp set.  This image was quickly colored using  Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends. It was cut out using a Stitched Nested Label die.

Tulip Get Well Card

Someone feeling under the weather? What better way to brighten their day than with a tulip get well card! It’s time for another Festive Friday Challenge.

This week we are celebrating National Nurse’s Day.  However, at Festive Friday you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion.  Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I selected red, get well sentiment, blue and green from the Inspo List in creating today’s card.  I hope you will join us in our challenge this week. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Don’t you just love a cute card that’s easy to make? That’s today’s card for sure! It’s colors will brighten anyone’s day. The nice thing is that this card can double as a thank you card, a birthday card, or a “hello” card simply by switching out the sentiment. It’s also one which can be made assembly line style.  Simply stamp several blooms in the colors desired, and punch away.  Originally all of my flowers were stamped in Real Red, but I decided a “pop” of Daffodil Delight was, well…delightful!

To break up the starkness of the Whisper White panel, the speckles image from the Painted Poppies stamp set was inked in Smoky Slate.  It was then stamped off and randomly stamped in the background.  Daffodil Delight ribbon and clear rhinestones are the perfect accents.
