For this week’s challenge, we are inspired by Grandparents Day. Remember, at Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate or make a card for the occasion featured. Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I used fancy fold, plaid, and pearls to create my card. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Oh my gosh! Can you say easy? Today’s card is one in which the designer paper does absolutely all of the work. Paired with a joy fold design, the result is a sweet card perfect for almost any occasion. Basic White die cuts and a gorgeous floral image, fussy-cut from the Awash in Beauty designer series paper, takes center stage. Ribbon holds the flap in place, while a sprinkling of pearls adorn it.

Nueve’s Notes
Hey, everyone! It’s me! Nueve! I’ve got exciting news! I am so excited, I can hardly keep my nub from wiggling! I went to North Dakota to a big dog show and became a CHAMPION! I’m a champion!!! I’m not sure what that means, but it sure made my Mom, my Dad, and my best friend, Michelle, very happy. Being so happy must have given Michelle super-powers, because she was able to lift all 82 pounds of me into a giant flower pot for a picture. I was happy, too. I gave her kisses because I know she likes them.
It was really fun. People were telling me how handsome I was. I made sure to give them my “cute puppy” look. Then they would say, “Aw! You are SO cute” and “You are such a GOOD boy!” My whole butt wiggled with joy.
When we had our picture taken together, the Judging Man told me I was handsome, and that I was a good boy. He looked grumpy, but he wasn’t. He was really nice, and I liked him. I wanted to give him kisses. But, no matter how much I like the judge, I’m not allowed to give him kisses. Michelle told me so. But, I think she just wants all my kisses for herself.
Mom said because I worked so hard and was so good, I could have a cheeseburger and a toy. I really liked the cheeseburger, and for dessert I got Roberta Cookies. They are SO yummy. Mom says they smell like people cookies. Now that I am a champion, I’m going to miss Michelle. But, Mom said we can still visit her, and I can still give her kisses and make her laugh. Making people happy is one of my jobs. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!
