Candy Canes

Candy canes are such an iconic image of the holiday season.  I usually associate them with being a sweet treat for children, and I like them, too.  However, when paired with the right elements, they can definitely grace the front of an elegant card. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

Candy Canes

This week, the amazing Anne Marie has a color challenge for us:  Black, White and a “Pop” of any color.  I selected Real Red. I can’t wait to see what color YOU choose!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

I just love cards that pack a “Wow”, but are easy to create – just like this card! In this case, a Fancy Frame die cut does all the work. I actually cut out two, one from black and one from polka dots. I inserted the center of the polka dot into the black one for a fun, little twist. A triple Real Red bow adds the finishing touch.
