Who wouldn’t like sending sunshine to friends? I know I would! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
It’s time for our monthly color challenge. Our hostess, the talented Anne Marie, has a delightful combination of colors for us. As for me, I created a trio of bold blossoms using the Sending Smiles stamp set. I can’t wait to see what you create.
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Sending Smiles is a new bundle which will be available from Stampin’ Up! on May 3rd. What I love about this bundle is the variety of sentiments. Need a “thank you” card? This set has you covered. Birthday card? Never fear! Card of encouragement? Yep! Or how about just sending sunshine? I used the challenge colors to create bright blossoms, and die cut everything out using the Sending dies. The flowers were then constructed on a Stitched So Sweetly panel. Sadly, the Stitched So Sweetly dies are retiring. They are still available at the time I am writing this post, so if you haven’t yet purchased them, there is still time. They are one of my all-time faves!

Notes from Nueve
Hey, everyone! I’m a big boy now. I got to be the only dog in the house these past ten days while Sixxy went to some classes. I have NEVER been the only dog. Mom was worried that I would get lonesome. But you know what? It was fun. Mom gave me extra treats. She gave me extra walk time. She bought me a BIG bone, the biggest I have ever seen. AND she ran around the back yard with me and did play bows. That was really funny. I wished the neighbors could have seen THAT. And the bestest thing was that I got all of the cuddle time!
I hunted squirrels, too. I almost caught one. I stalked up on him, and raced him to the tree.
But I couldn’t figure out how to climb it. I just missed grabbing his tail.
But you know what, that squirrel will think twice before coming into my yard again. It’s part of my job to keep my yard safe from critters. I’m a working dog! I am Good Boy Nueve!

The card is lovely! The colors make it so bright and cheery. What a sweet boxer! Our daughter lost her 13 year old boxer about a year ago and now has a 6 month old boxer pup. So I am a little partial. Haha
