Happiness Is Homemade

Happiness is homemade! How appropriate would this sentiment be on a card attached to a plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies you are delivering to the neighbors?  Or a plate of peanut butter fudge?  Or a chocolate cake?  Or an apple pie? Or chewy brownies?  It’s Sunday, I’m hungry for sweets, and it’s time to play with The Paper Players!

This week I have the pleasure of being the hostess of our monthly sketch challenge.  I hope you’ll have as much fun creating with this sketch as I did!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

The new Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper, available August 3rd, has this cute pattern which reminds me once again of vintage wallpaper.  Paired with an equally retro color palette, I thought it would make a cute backdrop for the What’s Cookin’ stamp set.  Although it’s out of scale with respect to the cutting board and utensils,  I just had to add the crock bowl.  Of course, the adorable sentiment, stamped in Calypso Coral, is the proverbial “icing on the cake”!
