Looking for a cutie patootie, “no-stamping required” card? If so, this Snail Hello Card is for you. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week is Clean and Simple week at The Paper Players, and I have the pleasure of being your host. I have selected an Animal theme for us. With a focus on animals of any type, this should be a super fun challenge. I can’t wait to see what you create! But remember, by clean and simple we mean cards that:
- Have minimal layers and embellishments
- Have plenty of open space, aka “white” space
- Are simple and uncluttered

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s card is SO easy! Can you believe there is NO stamping on this card at all? The images are all die cut from the adorable Snail Mail designer series paper collection. Sometimes the paper truly does all of the work for you. Because I needed to keep my design simple, I did not use any designer paper on my card. But if you wanted to step it up a notch, look how cute the same Snail scene looks when using the Polka Dot pattern from the True Love paper collection. There are also options from the Snail Mail collection that are just as cute. In fact, I may just have to whip up a few more of these with different backgrounds!
To download a free tutorial for today’s Snail Hello Card, which includes all the paper measurements and all of the products used, please click on the button below. For every card which has been posted on my blog this year, there is a free tutorial.

Adorable, Ann! You gotta love a no-stamp card and you really snailed it with this one! Big hugs!
So perfectly CAS Ann – you snailed it for sure this week my friend!
Ann, this was such a great challenge! I love both cards, but there is something about that white background that really allows your wonderful little snail scene to jump off the card. Absolutely fabulous, my friend!
hugs

Fantastic example of letting the DSP and dies do all the heavy lifting! Great scene and will be a sure hit with the recipient! Thanks for a fun challenge this week! Have a great weekend!
I absolutely love the CAS version of your card Ann! The focal part of your card has so many gorgeous details on it and the red frame really sends the eye in to see them! Vicky x
Thank you, Tonya! Those snails are cuties, for sure!
Ann, this is a fun CAS card without a doubt! Snail Mail is one Suite I didn’t get and each time I see it, I re-think! I love the perfect way you showcased all of these adorable elements. Adorable! Enjoy your week.
Thank you so much, Debbie! Snail Mail wasn’t on my radar in the beginning. But I bought it, and I think I have used it more than any other set in the Jan – June catalog! It’s a purchase I have not regretted.
Such a great theme for CAS week Ann! Everyone has an animal or two in their arsenal. I love your Snail card with the polka-dotted background. I hope you have a great week!
Thanks, Nancy! I am very partial to the polka-dotted card. This time of year, I am sure there are tons of bunnies, chicks and lambs just waiting to be inked up!
Fun card! Love the stepped up version…..polka dots never fail.
Thank you, Martha! Yep…you can’t beat polka dots!
Very cute card. I would have guessed that you had stamped and colored them. I definitely like the dotted dp on the card.
Thank you, Vicki! I agree…the dotted one is my favorite. I’m not really a CAS gal. lol
I LOVE those snails! Such a CUTE card!
Thank you, Tonya! Those snails are cuties, for sure!
