Coming Home Christmas Card: The Stamp Review Crew

Are you looking for a cute card with a country vibe? How about this Coming Home Christmas card? It’s time for the Stamp Review Crew: Coming Home Edition!

Coming Home Christmas Card

If this is your very first visit to one of our hops, the Stamp Review Crew is a group of international Stampin’ Up! demonstrators whose mission is to do a blog hop on the first, third and fifth Mondays of each month. Our hops are unique because each of us features the same stamp set used in a variety of ways, giving you loads of inspiration for that set. The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog. You will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop, whenever you want.

This week we are featuring the Coming Home set from the August – December  2020 Mini Catalog. If you are following along in order, you have just arrived from Kelly Kent.  Kelly’s work is always fabulous! After visiting me, you will continue to the next stop, the amazing Linda Callahan.  I absolutely love her work. Be prepared to be inspired as you travel along on today’s hop!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Today’s card was a fun one to create. I felt like an architect combining the various house images together. In the end, I used the house design as featured in the catalog because it was the one I liked the best. Leave it to Stampin’ Up!’s amazing concept artists to come up with the best designs!  In case you are wondering about the different colored windows, there is a story behind them.  This card will be the one I give to my husband this year.  He is always reminding me to shut off the lights in empty rooms. That is exactly what I did. In my mind, lights are on in the entry way, and also in the family room, which I placed on the right hand side of the house.  We’ll see if he catches on to this subtle detail when he receives the card.

  7. It almost looks like a post card! Love the way you “built” the house, and had to grin about the age-old battle of leaving lights on…. except in my case it’s the opposite. I have to remind the mister to turn off the bathroom light, LOL. I hope yours gets the subtle message. 😉
