Glittery Halloween Card

Dark and subdued, this glittery Halloween card has a spooky, yet romantic vibe with its “There is magic in this night” sentiment. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week, the amazing Anne Marie has a beautiful color challenge for us:  Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss with Glitter or Foil. These colors just happen to be the colors found in Stampin’ Up!’s Magic in This Night designer series paper collection. How could I resist not making a Halloween card? How about you? I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

For the glitter option in today’s challenge, I went with Stampin’ Up!’s Black Glitter paper. Can you believe the sparkle? Originally, I just had the glittery black borders and the glittery bats. But the sparkle lured me in, and I used the Forever Flourishing dies to create glittery black leaves.

I am not a fan of spiders, but I pulled in the Blackberry Bliss color by using the spider pattern paper. The sentiment, which is a wee bit romantic, was heat embossed in white.  Two glittery bats hide some of the spiders, so unless I am wearing my glasses, it just looks like a marbled pattern (wink)!
