Don’t we all have a fashion conscious friend or two? I know I do. I designed today’s card for one fashionable friend in particular. She and I are always joking around about her shoe collection, so I know she will love it. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week, the talented Laurie is hosting a Clean and Simple challenge: Fashion Fun. I will be the first to admit that I LOVE clean and simple cards, but I always end up adding too much “stuff”. However, I gamely reached for my new Dressed to Impress bundle from Stampin’ Up! and vowed this time would be different. I hope you enjoy today’s effort!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Clean and Simple cards are usually characterized by lots of “white” or uncluttered space. In this case, I added interest by embossing the background using the Tufted 3D embossing folder.
I kept embellishments to a minimum, adding a Best Dressed tassel to the perfume bottle. Clear Wink of Stella was used to add a bit of sparkle to the lipstick tube and the label on the bottle.

Just WOW! I LOVE the embossed background and all the little details. The tassel on your perfume bottle is genius! You know I am a fashionista, so I love the shoes, lipstick, perfume AND–polka dots, too! ! I live by this sentiment! PERFECTION! XX
I love those little extra details of the embossed background and the tassel Ann – they add beauty to your card and ‘dress up’ if you’ll excuse the pun the main elements, whilst still leaving your card with a clean and simple feel. I have the opposite problem to you with CAS I think – I’m afraid to add anything at all to my basic design! All the white makes the pinks pop too. So pretty!
This card is just wonderful, but you really kicked it up by adding that Tufted embossing in the background! The tassel makes it even more fun!

I think you reached just the right balance to create a CAS card with just the right amount of “extras”! That tufted background and tassle on the perfume bottle are absolutely perfect embellishments for the “elegance” factor. Love the polka dot dsp oval as well. Your girlfriend will swoon over this fabulous card, Ann!
