One of my favorite ways to wish someone “Happy Holidays” is with a wreath card. How about you? If a wreath card is in your stamping future, give this fun one a try! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week, the talented Joanne has a wonderful sketch for us! Don’t you love it? For my star element, I opted to create a wreath using a branch image from the Dashing Deer stamp set. How cool is that? I couldn’t believe how easy it was. Although it looks as if this card took a long time to create, it actually came together quickly. I hope you enjoy today’s wreath card, and that you will join in the fun at The Paper Players!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
To create the wreath, the small branch image from Dashing Deer was stamped in a circle. For the first layering of branches, the image was inked in Pear Pizzazz. Next, I stamped Old Olive branches. The final layer was stamped in Mossy Meadow. More branches were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and die cut out using the coordinating Detailed Deer die. Trees, once again created with the appropriate die, were cut from Glimmer Paper and trimmed down to add a wee bit of sparkle. Full details are found in the tutorial.

I love a good wreath too Ann and had totally overlooked this piece in the set – off to take a second look!! This does look really effective with the layering and I love the slivers of silver sparkle too. Great job!
