A friend of mine is getting married, and I wanted to create a card that not only fits her personality, but one which also reflects her style and her wedding. Her bouquet is going to be native flowers, while the tables at the reception are going to be decorated with simple greenery. What could be better than a romantic spring card in green, which happens to fit right in with today’s Festive Friday Challenge: Spring and/or Green!
Colors of the Day
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This beautiful paper is from the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper collection…just perfect for someone who is into nature.
For the focal image, I copied a bouquet I had created earlier. The die cut embossed leaves add a touch of texture, while the Shimmery White stitched circle provides just a tinge of sparkle. My friend knows I often accent my cards with pearls. They will serve as a sweet reminder that this card was crafted with love.
I hope my friend loves her card as much as I loved making it for her. The nice thing is that if you would like to create your own spring card, you can always switch out the sentiment and use this card for lots of occasions.
