Today I am CASEing a note card from the Occasions Catalog.  It features the Butterfly Gala bundle. Enjoy!

Butterfly Note Card

butterfly Note CardI have never denied my love for the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I especially love enhancing the pattern by adding ink…and that is exactly what drew my eyes to this cover card.  I loved how the Whisper White ink made the lacy pattern stand out. I also liked the versatility of this card. It would be suitable for so many different occasions simply by switching out the sentiment.  I know I will be creating several of these in different colors, with birthday and thank you sentiments, for future use.

  1. Ann this is so beautiful and feminine. I have not bought the balmy blue paper yet, but I think you just made a believer in me….it’s perfect for today’s grey trends. And lightly brushing white ink over the embossed portions is a great idea. I am assuming my white craft ink would do the same if I get it on my brush or sponge light enough.

  2. Beautiful card. I love that embossing folder too and it is so pretty the way you added the white ink to the raised parts. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Beautiful card Ann and the embossed background; it’s gorgeous, as well as your butterflies.
I make and carry along in my purse some Thank You note cards, so just in case we stop to eat somewhere I have a thank you card along with to put our tip money in for our waitress. They always appreciate a thank you card with a personal note written inside to go along with their tip.
(fast moving storms went through earlier so was unable to post my comment) Had up to 80mph winds and Very Heavy rains so when day break comes around I will have to go and see just how much damage there is. Needless to say; with the strong winds our mobile home was a shake’n 0 Me as well.
Enjoy the remainder of the week
