A Valentine Card for The Paper Players #PP423

It’s time to play with The Paper Players! This week I am hosting a theme challenge: Crazy About Critters! All you need to do is feature an animal on your project.  Remember (says the retired science teacher) an animal doesn’t have to be warm and fuzzy!

Valentine CardI hope you enjoy my “mouse adorned” Valentine card. They are a sweet little couple, don’t you think?

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

These cutie-patootie mice were inked in Basic Gray, but their fur is Smoky Slate.  They are sharing a Lovely Lipstick heart, which is from the Meant to Be stamp set.  Although I used a die to cut out our furry couple, I snipped away the extra grass at their feet.

They are perched on a Whisper White Stitched heart, die cut using a framelit from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits collection. The lacy white heart was die cut at the same time. I can’t wait to use these framelits again.

Of course, I think the it’s the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which steals the show.  I absolutely LOVE this folder!
