It’s Thursday and time to play at Pals Paper Arts! This week we have an exciting sketch for you designed by Nicole Watt. When I saw the points on the main panel, I thought of the new Bohemian Borders stamp set, Bohemian Designer Series Paper, and the Boho Chic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I hope you enjoy today’s card!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.
- Delightful Dijon! The background stamp from You’ve Got This, when inked with Delightful Dijon, makes a perfect backdrop for the vivid colors used to stamp the images from Bohemian Borders. I LOVE the Boho vibe! It reminds me of printed fabrics from my youthful days in the late 1960’s. I am usually a perfectionist, but I did not mind it one bit when the center of the diamond on the right was a tad off. It just adds to the bohemian charm!
- Boho Chic! Don’t you just adore the rich texture imparted by the Boho Chic embossing folder? Of course you know me. One of these days I am going to use this new folder on a card and add…you’ve guessed it…PEARLS! I seriously can’t wait to try it!
- Good things come in threes! I used three stamp sets to create the the image panel: Bohemian Borders for the bright images, You’ve Got This for the subtle background, and Six-Sided Sampler for the sentiment. I can already tell I am going to use this mini-background stamp from You’ve Got This often!
It was fun creating with new products. Of course, there are always a few stamp sets and colors whose retirement I will mourn. But there is always something new which “wows” me. I think the Boho Chic embossing folder is going to be one of my new “best friends”. How about you? Is there something in the new catalog which blows you away? Won’t you let me know in your comment today? Your comments are important to me. And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away. Until next time…

Fabulous card!! Love the way you went out of the norm with the Bohemian look!! Even got them pearls on!! LOL!!!
Hmmmm, pearls in the middle of the 4 dots and perhaps some glitter in the center of the diamond. Love seeing you do something off register!!
Totally delightful card.
This is a fun look, Ann! Thanks for the new catalog. I’ve dog eared it already!
Hello, Ann: Love how you combined the three sets and the EF for this unique challenge! Really like “the all seeing eye” in the center diamond of your focal piece; adds a touch of mystery! Are there any instructions for the zig-zag cut piece? Hugs!
Hi Ann,
This is such a neat card…did not think I’d be “into” the “Bohemian” look.
Ann love your card and it DOES remind me of the late 60’s…. moving into the “Far Out 70’s”…. 8-I love the sketch and wondered how you made the bottom asymmetric edge. hugs
I love how the bohemian prints look like a rug, or papyrus… very cool combination! I wasn’t sold on getting the set (I have the DSP), but perhaps it’s a contender now! Great take on this week’s sketch. I love that everyone was brave enough to do the zig-zag at the bottom!
Wow, this makes a great bold statement! Love it with all it’s charm and texture. I really had to read to see if you didn’t color a pearl to put in that biggest motif! Love that EF and all the great colors. Very fun!
Looks very Native American also.
I wondered where the pears were?! Nice combo, Ann.
Beautiful!
HI Ann, stopped by to comment on your Paper Players card and saw this beauty! Had to tell you how fabulous it is. Great use of the new stamp sets–love the dijon background with the border stamps and such a cool sketch! GREAT card, my friend!
