In keeping with the uplifting, affirmative cards I have been posting recently, here’s one for the guys! You ARE Fierce! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week, the lovely and talented LeAnne is hosting our monthly sketch challenge. With its three panels and prominent sentiment, today’s sketch is perfect for showing off designer series paper, and is SO versatile! I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s card was created with a purpose. Our son, Brady, was recently promoted, and I wanted to send him a card to congratulate him for his hard work and dedication. As a little boy, he loved lions, tigers, dinosaurs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Well, I didn’t happen to have any lion, dinosaur or TMNT paper, but I did have In the Wild designer series paper on hand. He will get a kick out of the paper, for sure. Plus, I know the “You Are Fierce” sentiment, which was heat embossed and die cut out using a tiger die from the Big Cats collection, will bring a smile to his face. Isn’t it great to be able to tailor the cards you make to the recipient? It’s one of my favorite things about making hand-made cards.
Because I was ready to send this card on its way, I went ahead and decorated the inside of it with a sentiment from the Soaring Swallows stamp set. Here’s a peak:

Notes from Nueve
Hooray! Sixxy and I passed the first part of our heart testing. Our ‘trodes showed zeros, and Mom said that’s a good thing. Now we have to have something called an echocardiogram done. Dr. Heidi from Wisconsin is going to do them. She did Uncle Jackie and Uncle Q’s “echos”, so we are excited to meet her.
Because it has been cold and wet and windy, we haven’t been able to go on walks. Mom said it was good weather to start her Spring cleaning. I didn’t know Mom had any springs to clean, but I guess she does. I think she was looking for springs to clean in drawers, but she found these “danbanas” instead.
The pink one used to be Aunt Lexi’s. Aunt Lexi loved it, and always looked so pretty in it. I think Sixxy looks pretty in it, too.
I got a red one. Mom said it belonged to Missy the Boxer. I didn’t know Missy. Missy was here before Great Aunt Muffy and Great Uncle Brody. But, I feel very special that Mom loves me enough to let me wear it.
It’s hard work looking this handsome, and sometimes I get very tired and have to take a nap.
But, looking good is all part of the job. I’m a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!
