There is nothing better than a card to say anything you just wanted to say! And I just wanted to say, it’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week the amazing Anne Marie is hosting our monthly sketch challenge. What a fabulous sketch she has for us! I absolutely love it. I thought it was perfect for showcasing the Country Bouquet bundle and Country Floral Lane designer series paper. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

Colors Of The Day

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
The Country Bouquet bundle isn’t just for Valentine’s Day. While there are hearts galore and sentiments geared toward love, the “Just wanted to say…” sentiment could easily be paired with a variety of sentiments from other sets. Simply use it on the front of the card and add a sentiment of your choice on the inside. Maybe you just wanted to say…hello or happy birthday or thank you or congratulations or I’m sorry or…you get the idea! Today’s sketch has a perfect placement for this sentiment. Plus, it is a great one for showing off your favorite designer paper patterns.

This week I have the pleasure of hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge. The theme I have selected for you is Spring Has Sprung: Please feature a flower on your Clean-and-Simple card. I truly went clean and simple, as well as quick and easy, creating a card that can be used for so many different occasions by merely switching out the sentiment. I can’t wait to see what YOU create. But before you run off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, remember that when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

It’s color challenge week at The Paper Players, and our talented hostess, LeAnne, has a palette of bright colors for us. If you follow my blog, you know that brights usually are not in my wheelhouse, but I really had fun playing with these cheery hues. I thought they would be perfect for brightening one’s day with a colorful “Hello There” card. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
