Thanks For Your Kindness

Brightly colored apples will brighten up anyone’s day on this “Thanks For Your Kindness” card. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!

Thanks for your kindnessThis week the talented Joanne is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge. The theme is “Use One of Something:  Use One Image Only”.  I used one large image featuring apples and leaves. I can’t wait to see what YOU create.  But before you run off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, remember that when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

To meet the challenge criteria of using one image only, I selected the large image from the Apple Harvest stamp set, which featured three apples and lots of leaves.  This image was fun to color using Stampin’ Blends.  The Granny Apple Green leaves and Real Red apples are so cheery. This card will definitely brighten up someone’s mailbox.  The largest Radiating die and the Crosshatch embossing folder add interest while keeping things clean.  Three Parakeet Party pearls are the only embellishments needed.
