Isn’t it amazing how quickly Thursday rolls around each week? Of course, that means it’s time to reveal this week’s Pals Paper Arts challenge…Clean and Simple Elements of Style: Paper Piercing. Paper Piercing is a stylish but simple way to add interest to your design! Won’t you try your hand at creating a CAS card using paper piercing. I can’t wait to see what you create! The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Clean and Shabby Style
Pearls! “Pop” up the center of the Summer Solstice flower, and add Pearls for a quick and easy “wow”! The edges can be distressed in seconds by using a Sponge Dauber and Soft Suede ink. The soft color was achieved by inking the stamp in Cherry Cobbler, and then “painting” it with a Blender Pen.
If you are trying to achieve a shabby-vintage look but don’t want to break the bank by purchasing tons of embellishments like Victoria Crochet Lace, Antique Brads, and Vintage Trinkets, invest in Basic Pearls, Sponge Daubers and a Color Spritzer Tool. You can do so much with these three items, and of course, the daubers and the Color Spritzer Tool are re-usable! What do you think? I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Won’t you please leave me a comment and let me know! And remember, I am only an email away if you ever have questions about the cards that I create or the techniques that I use. Until next time…
