It’s color challenge week and the lovely and sweet LeAnne is our hostess.  She has a fabulous palette of colors for us.  I absolutely adore Bubble Bath and Berry Burst together, don’t you? While I inked up a hot air balloon, I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

I have never ridden in a hot air balloon. My fear of heights precludes me from doing that very thing. However, I do LOVE stamping balloons. My Berry Burst balloon sports a Bubble Bath middle band, adorned with a lacy and feminine Basic White overlay. It soars in an embossed sky among a few clouds and a trio of Berry Burst gems.  Of course, all the time I was making it, the song “Up, Up And Away” by The Fifth Dimension kept dancing through my head.  I hadn’t thought of this song in decade. I will say that at age 70, I now find the lyrics beautiful.  But in 1968, at the age of 14, not so much.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

I love creating romantic and elegant cards by using one of my favorite “card recipes”.  I begin with a dollop of Very Vanilla cardstock and add a heaping helping of embossed texture. Next, I blend in a few metallic die cuts, followed with one or two floral sprigs.  Finally I season to taste with a pinch of sparkle.
