Good-by, Nature Walk…Hello, New Catalog Shares

Time flies by so quickly!  Can you believe that there are only a few more weeks to take advantage of Stampin’ Up!’s retiring stamps and accessories?  Today we are going to say good-by to one of my favorites,  Nature Walk.  Here are a few of the cards I have made with this fabulous set:

Nature Walk was a set that was right up my alley, perfect for vintage, collage and shabby chic cards.  Although I never tried it, I know that it could be used for clean and simple cards, too. Shares are a great way to own a little bit of everything…and it is so easy to participate.  All you have to do is send me an email to reserve a spot in any or all of the product shares described below.  Starting May 31st, I will begin ordering the shares as they fill.  Once the product arrives at my door, I will divide it, package it, and send it on its way straight to your house.  So if you are interested, and wish to be included in this first round of shares, email me today! One Fish, Two Fish, Island Indigo Blue Fish for The Paper Players

It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week we have a Clean and Simple Masculine Challenge for you. As for me, I couldn’t wait to create a Father’s Day card for Brady to give to his dad.  Because Brady is upbeat and a little non-traditional, like his mom, I decided to incorporate Calypso Coral into the design.  I hope you enjoy today’s card.


The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Easy Masculine Cards
This finished card measures 5-1/2″ wide by 4-1/4″ long.

  • Embossed bass! Textured tuna! Whatever the species…they look a little more exciting when passed through the Big Shot with the Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It’s a quick and easy way to add interest to a clean and simple card.
  • Bright banners! Island Indigo and Calypso Coral are a dynamic duo for sure! Bold and bright, each color can stand up to the other as a true equal.
  • Fishtails! A trio of banners mimic the “vee” of the fishtails, as well as the chevrons, thus pulling the entire card together.


Muffin’s New Lead

I couldn’t let Lexi Lou be the only girl in the house sporting bling with her show lead.  I just had to get one for Muffy Lin, too! While Lexi’s is pink, petite and perfect for a little girl, Muffy’s is a little heavier and a little “blingier” and looks fabulous with her fawn color.  

As you read this,  Muffy and I are headed to Island Lake, Illinois, where she will be spending from Monday to Friday with her new handler for a little bonding time.  Muff has several important shows in a row, so Team Muffy is going to fine tune some of her skills. I will definitely miss my little helper for sure.
