February Lesson of the Month: Guy Greetings

PicMonkey Collage

This month’s lesson takes a masculine twist with the vintage-style set, Guy Greetings.   You will receive one completed sample…and the “makings” to make all three cards.  You will need to use your new stamps, inks, and adhesives,  but I will supply you with pre-cut cardstock and designer paper, as well as punched items, buttons and ribbon.  How fun will it be to stamp and assemble while reading your tutorial and watching the video!  The Lesson of the Month is like stampin’ with me in my kitchen!

Let’s take a look at this month’s cards:

Card #1:  Anchors Away! (This is the completed card you will receive.)

IMG_1554-001What this month’s lesson includes….

  • Guy Greetings Stamp Set in photopolymer  (137178, $25.95).  If you already have this set, I will gladly substitute another stamp set at the same value, $25.95 or less.  IF you prefer wood or clear, I can adjust the price of the class accordingly (Wood – $60.95 + extra shipping; Clear – $47.95).
  • 1 Completed Sample Card.  The sample card this month is Card #1: Anchors Away.
  • Pre-cut cardstock, pre-cut designer series paper, ribbon, button and linen thread for you to make one of each design.  You will need to use your own new stamps, inks, and adhesives.
  • A step-by-step PDF tutorial for all three cards, which contains a product list with item numbers, cutting dimensions, helpful hints and plenty of pictures to guide you along the way.
  • A private video for each card, for a total of three videos.  On lucky days, you may hear a Boxer or two!
  • And don’t forget, for every third lesson in which you participate, you receive a bonus gift from me valued between $3.95 and $6.95.

The cost for all of this is $34.95.  Are you ready to enroll this month? Just send an email to ann@thestampinschach.com or kimschach@msn.com. I will send you a PayPal invoice within 24 hours.  This month’s deadlines are:

  • Deadline for signing up:  Tuesday, February 24, Noon CST.  Please note:  Classes size is limited to 30.
  • PDFs and Private Video Links will be mailed out by February 28th
  • Your stamp set will be mailed to you within 1 business day after I receive it from Stampin’ Up!

The Stamp Review Crew: Wondrous Wreath Edition

SRC-Wondrous-Wreath-bannerIt’s time for another round of inspiration from The Stamp Review Crew.  If this is your very first visit, we are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators whose mission is to do a blog hop on the first and third Mondays of each month. Our hops are unique because each of us  features the same stamp set.  The result is you see the versatility of the set and the amazing things you can create with it.  This week we are featuring Wondrous Wreath.  I am Stop #6 on the hop. You may have just left Stop #5: the talented Deb Currier.  Her work is always fabulous.  As for me…I designed a Wedding Treat Bag.  Enjoy today’s hop!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

  • Score! To create an elegant look, I used the Diagonal Plate and the Simply Scored scoring tool to create the diamond background on this treat bag.   Of course, wedding treat bags call for Pearls, don’t you think?IMG_1516
  • Decorate! The Wreath was stamped in Always Artichoke (stamped off once) and the overlay was inked in Mossy Meadow.  The sweet little blossoms, punched in shades of Pink Pirouette, Soft Sky, So Saffron, and Wisteria Wonder, were created using the smallest flower die from the Flower Fair Framelits collection.  Pearls were added to the centers of each.  A few sequins add just a touch of sparkle.IMG_1511
  • Bow! A Sahara Sand lace bow is the final touch.

IMG_1523-001Wouldn’t this be adorable to hand out to guests as wedding favors…with a packet of flower seeds and a cute little poem tucked inside? Or maybe a square of chocolate? What do you think? Won’t you let me know in your comment today? Your comments are important to me, and I read each and every one! Of course, if you have any questions about today’s project, I am only an email away!  Now hop along to Stop #7, Kerry Willard Bray.  Her work never ceases to amaze me. And if you get lost along the way, you can find a list of all the hoppers at The Stamp Review Crew.  Until next time…
