It’s Sunday and time to play at The Paper Players! This week, the lovely LeAnne is hosting a color challenge: Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand, Pistachio Pudding. I thought this would be a great time to play with one of the “sneak peek” sets I pre-ordered from Stampin’ Up!’s new 2015 – 2016 Annual Catalog. This adorable set is entitled Sprinkles of Life. It is the Ronald McDonald House Charities set for this year. For every one of these sets it sells, Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the RMHC. Today’s card also affords us a sneak peek at another set, You’ve Got This, as well as new paper and embellishments. Enjoy!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ when folded.
- New stamp sets! Sprinkles of Life is adorable! Not only can you create a cupcake with sprinkles on top…you can create a tree, an ice cream cone, and a basket of flowers or leaves with the 22 images included in this set. And how about the Sahara Sand background? It was created using a stamp from the sneak peek set, You’ve Got This. I can see myself using this background often!
- New paper! Stampin’ Up! updated the Background Designer Series Paper Stacks. The new featured patterns include diagonal stripes, script, a bubbly-looking design, as well as these neat polka dots (seen here in Sahara Sand).
- New embellishment! Although it is the new color Tip Top Taupe and not Sahara Sand, I couldn’t help but feature one of the new 2015 – 2017 In Color Blossom Accents on today’s card. I think it coordinates well with Sahara Sand, don’t you? And how about that little snippet of Watermelon Wonder, another new In Color? I LOVE it!
Because I will be winging my way to Hawaii to enjoy the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip I earned last year, I won’t get to play with my new “Sneak Peeks” until I return. However, my Pals Paper Arts card on Thursday features another “sneak peek” stamp set, and next Sunday’s The Paper Players card will have some of the new lace ribbon on it.
I can’t wait to hear what you think about this new stamp set. Won’t you let me know in your comment today? Your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one! Of course, if you have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only and email away. Until next time…Aloha!
