What could be a better way to start the new year than with a new friendship? This sparkly friendship card reminds us that finding a friend is the best discovery of all! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

The Paper Players have  a brand new challenge for a brand new year! It’s theme week, and I am thrilled to be your host.  I am here to challenge you to make 2022 sparkle by using something sparkly on your card or project! What will it be? Rhinestones? Sequins? Glitter paper? Foil? I can’t wait to see what you use on YOUR entry this week.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Today I am featuring the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set from the new January – June Mini catalog.  As you know, this catalog goes live, and Sale-a-Bration begins, on January 4th.  The new products will be available for ordering beginning at 3:00 am (MT).  Now you might be saying to yourself, “Where are the Hedgehogs on this card?” Well, I opted to use the flower and butterfly images from the set, along with this delightful sentiment, to create today’s sparkly friendship card.

sparkly friendship cardI used blender pens and inks to color the images.  Glimmer paper, clear rhinestones and White Glittered Organdy ribbon add lots of sparkle.

sparkly friendship cardAnd if that isn’t enough sparkle, clear Wink of Stella was used to highlight the butterfly and leaves.
