My son and daughter-in-law celebrated their anniversary recently. I wanted to make them a very special card to celebrate the occasion. Instead of going with a traditional “Happy Anniversary” sentiment, I decided on “Always and Forever” to honor their special bond. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

It’s the fifth Sunday of the month and you know what that means! It’s time for a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. Woo hoo! It’s my turn to host! I have a variety of fun choices for you on the grid. Choose at least three elements across, down or diagonally. The sky is the limit as to what you can feature. In fact, I can’t wait to see what YOU create! But before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my incredible Design Teammates, who work so hard to inspire you weekly, some “Comment Love”. It brightens our day!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Although today’s card is a wee bit time consuming, it is easy to create. It features the beautiful Lunar Lustre specialty designer series paper, which serves as the card base. It adds a magical silvery shine to the card, giving off a celestial vibe. The next layer shows off the gorgeous die cuts from the Forever Florals die set. I used Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam cardstock for the small flowers and foliage. The large sentiment was heat embossed onto a Spotlight On Nature die cut circle. Because black was too harsh, I used retired Early Espresso embossing powder. As a finishing touch, every flower received a rhinestone center. A little snippet of retired silver Elegant Trim was used to make a petite bow. When all was said and done, I ended up using every choice on the Tic-Tac-Toe grid except for patterned paper!

Nueve’s Notes
Hey, everybody! It’s me, Nueve! I have great news. Both Uncle Q and I did great at the dog show. BOTH of us earned our next Rally Obedience titles. I got my Intermediate title and Uncle Q got his Advanced title. He did SO good. He got one of the highest scores. His good friend, Rose, showed him. He stayed with her a lot when I was out showing with Mom and Dad. Everybody was so happy he got his title, ’cause he has to retire now. He can’t jump the jumps anymore ’cause of his “arthur-eye-tiz”. He got to have his picture taken with the judge.

I showed FOUR times this weekend. It made me tired. When we got home, I fell asleep in the yard.

Mom woke me up and made me come inside. I snuggled up with my ‘corn, and fell right back to sleep.

After I had rested up, Mom took a picture with me to celebrate my new title. Sixx styled her hair for her. Sixx is very helpful that way!

It will be several months before I get my next obedience title. Mom has to learn everything we need to do to earn it. But that’s OK. Just being in class with my mom makes me happy and makes her happy, too. Making Mom happy is just part of my job. I’m a Working Dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!

I had been eyeing this set with interest Ann so you’ll be delighted to know that this card tipped it into my basket when I placed my SU order earlier this week!! I love the delicate diecut detail and that beautiful scripted sentiment. Good call on the lustre paper for a pretty sheen too. Beautiful!
Ann, what a beautiful card you’ve created for your son and DIL! The floral cover die over the lustre background is so elegant and the tiny flowers are simply the sweetest!
Wonderful photo with Neuve too! Congrats to both he and Q!
Ann,
I Just Love your stories with the “Dogs” your news is just the highlight of my week. Love your dog friend, I.D. Fonzy
P.S. My mom loves your beautiful card
Ann, your son and DIL will cherish this beautiful Anniversary card! SO much detail and worth all the time you spent to create it. I love the dainty little flowers in Petal Pink. This background die is beautiful! Just WoW!
Nueve and Uncle Q have been busy! So proud of their awards and I know you are, too! Love the pictures. I can see why Nueve needed a good snooze! Have a great rest of the week, My Friend!
Congrats ☺️💐 lovely and elegant card
Happy day
Oh, you outdid yourself with this card! So elegant! You’ve convinced me that I need to get those Forever Floral dies. ¡Felicitaciones! to Uncle Q and Nueve! They both have the sweetest faces.
Really beautiful card, Ann! Perfect for a wedding as well. Congratulations to Nueve and Uncle Q for doing so well.
BEAUTIFUL anniversary card, Ann! I love that die & now I must have it!!
Lovely color combo you used of pink & green on Espresso.
Sorry to hear Uncle Q can’t show anymore due to his arthur-itiz. He sure is a handsome guy. I cracked up at Nueve being so tired! Look at that cute little face flat on the ground sleeping & again with his unicorn. What a sweet boy! Congrats to both of the boys!!! And, who needs to pay a hair stylist when you’ve got Sixx!
What a great choice of sentiment for an anniversary card. This is so lovely with the lacy detailing in the background, the sweetness of the tiny blooms with their sparkling centres and the soft, romantic colours. Beautiful! 🙂
I am so happy to see that lovely diecut here today! I shy away from them…poking out all those pieces makes me crazy, but I love seeing others use them, LOL! What a nice way to wish your son & DIL a happy anniversary! And we always love seeing your pups! (And you!)
You always intrigue and inspire me Ann with your cards. This card is so elegant, timeless and gentle. I am quite certain it was much appreciated. Thanks for your wonderful dog stories – your best mates!
Ann, I love this card. I bet your son and DIL loved it, too. It has that trademark Ann Schach touch of elegance that is so distinctive. Congrats to the happy couple, and the happy pooches! BTW – loving the new hairstyle!

Such a gorgeous anniversary card, Ann, I love the soft colors of the flowers on the die cut floral background. I had so much fun with this tic-tac-toe, I couldn’t choose just three of the options to play with : ) Congratulations to Nueve and Uncle Q. Love the pictures of Nueve conked out with his unicorn!
Such a lovely card Ann and a great inspiration.
After seeing your card I thought to myself; ‘Change the sentiment, and what a perfect sympathy card that would make.’ Would be quick, easy and yet elegant. I have a couple of sympathy cards to make.
Congratulations to your sweet fur babies.
That card is so so beautiful! And so are the dogs. I love the hairstyle! Thanks for sharing.
