Trio Of Holiday Trees PP715

A trio of holiday trees will surely get the recipient of today’s card in a festive mood. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

Trio of Decoaraive Trees

It’s Color challenge week at The Paper Players! The sweet and wonderful Claire has a fun quartet of colors for us: Magenta, Purple, Turquoise, Orange.   I can’t wait to see how YOU use these colors!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Because I am always behind in creating holiday cards, I was determined to use these four colors to create one. I immediately thought of my Decorative Trees die set.   To represent the challenge colors, I used the following Stampin’ Up! colors:  Berry Burst – Magenta;  Blackberry Bliss – Purple ;  Pretty Peacock -Turquoise; Pumpkin Pie – Orange. Balls, bows and festoons of garland, die cut from soft shimmer paper, look lovely against Basic White trees. The Snowflake Sky embossing folder adds texture to the Basic White backgrounds, which were in turn matted onto Brushed Gold and Blackberry Bliss. The result was elegant and rich, but with a clean and simple vibe. The slimline layout adds to the charm.

I love that you went for a non-traditional coloured Christmas card too Ann – and a slimline! Those trees are gorgeous but that bow – so neat and elegant! Gorgeous!

  2. What a cute trio of trees….and that bow! You are the bow-making queen for sure! A fun way to use Claire’s colors, to create a happy Christmas card!

  3. Such festive Christmas trees Ann! I adore all the swirling garlands and the little bows on the two end trees! The big bow is stunning and adds an elegant element. So lovely. I hope you have a great week!

  4. That trio of trees is almost a card within a card. The generous bow is festive all on its own but is great for drawing the eye to the trees. Very festive – the touches of gold are just right. Have a lovely week. 🙂

  5. I love this!!! These trees are so cute!!! The colors look great together!!!

  6. Ann, I just LOVE what you did with my colors! This is so FUN and FESTIVE! You are so talented to decorate these amazing tree cut outs with these bright colors! I think the Blackberry Bliss is a beautiful choice for you shade of purple. The pretty bow and the gold just pop! Thank you for making my colors shine! Have a great week, My Friend!
