Delicate Blue Flowers Happy Birthday Card

How about sending someone a bouquet of delicate blue flowers for a birthday surprise? You can, with today’s delicate blue flowers birthday card! It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

delicate blue flowers birthday cardThis week, sweet Joanne is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge.  For our crafting pleasure, she selected the theme of “Happy Birthday”.  There are so many choices on what you can design. We can’t wait to see what YOU create.  But remember, this is a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge.  Before you run off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, keep in mind that when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

The Everyday Details dies are awesome for creating frames, like the one on today’s card. To add interest, I embossed it with the Crosshatch Basics 3D embossing folder and added strips of Boho Blue cardstock behind the series of tiny holes.  With detailing like this, embellishments are not necessary. Stampin’ Blends make coloring the flowers and vase a breeze.  A simple sentiment in a pretty script font, popped up on dimensionals, completes the card.
