A friend is one of the greatest gifts a person can have. What better way to let a friend know how much you cherish them than with a card like this lovely and sweet dearest friend card! It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.
This week the fabulous Jaydee has a wonderful theme challenge for us: Friendship! While the card I created has a sweet country vibe to it, the sky is the limit on what you can do with this very versatile theme. I can’t wait to see what you create!
Colors Of The Day
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
I am a pushover when it comes to gingham and plaid papers. I especially love this pattern in neutral hues from the Perennial Lavender designer series paper collection. It sets the tone for the card, giving it a sweet feminine and country vibe. The Pretty In Pink deckled circle, embossed with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder, provides the perfect backdrop for this lovely image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set. The Thoughtful Wishes stamp set had just the sentiment for which I was searching: dearest friend, in a lovely font. And that gorgeous leafy Basic White die cut behind it all? It is from the Thoughtful Wishes die collection.

Nueve’s Notes
Hi, everybody! It’s me, Nueve! I just wanted you to see this picture of me and my friend, Michelle, at the big show where we were in the dark with a big light on us. She’s in her bear feet, but they look like people toes to me!
One of Mom’s friends thought she looked like a flamingo dancer, but I don’t think she looks like a flamingo. They are pink. Anyway we both had so much fun flying around the ring. Mom said I looked like a grown-up boy. After we got done, Michelle had a big smile. Making the ones I love smile is just part of my job. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!

Ann, that postage edge is perfect for this card and I love the gingham. Your mix of colors is so restful. A perfect, elegant, friend card. BTW – fabulous shot of Michelle and Neuve. Just perfect
Hugs

Absoluty gorgeous card, congrats 💐😊 happy day
Beautiful card…I just love those papers and the colors you chose! SO pretty! And that Michele…I saw this photo earlier and noticed right away she was in her “bear” feet….she’s pretty daring but she does an awesome job!
What a lovely combination of products you’ve used for this card Ann; I love the mix of new with existing and that gingham paper does add a fabulous country vibe to the whole thing. Gorgeous!
Hi Nueve and An I to thought Michele looked like some type of dancer love the pics
Beautiful card, Ann!
Love the picture of Nueve and Michelle!! So fluid and festive! I hear the “flamingo” music every time I see the picture! 🤓
Oh, those colors combined together and the design…makes my heart happy! I do so love your cards, Ann!
Nueve is the best! Look at the two of them together..poetry in motion.
Beautiful card. I have all my papers and my paper pieces all organized. One folder is all gingham, and another, the biggest probably, is plaids. That picture is so beautiful, you can feel the joy, and the love between them. Nueve appears to have only one foot on the ground – truly walking on air. Thanks for sharing!
