Feminine Card In Pink And White

I love to create feminine, romantic cards. This feminine card in pink and white is rich with texture and pearls – a multitude of glorious pearls! It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

This week, the delightful Claire is hosting our monthly sketch challenge. Don’t you just LOVE this sketch? While I toyed with using some of my favorite designer paper patterns, I decided to let embossing take center stage. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

One of the things I often do is create a card with no sentiment. That way, I can add the appropriate sentiment when I use the card. In the case of this card, it is such a versatile design it could be used for a multitude of occasions: birthday, anniversary, wedding, thank you, hello, thinking of you and more.  And I definitely would not detract from the beauty of the front of the card by adding the sentiment there.  I would add the sentiment to the inside.  And just think of the pretty color combination you could use! You can bet I will be making more of this design in the future. feminine card in pink and white

  1. Ann, such a wonderful texture on your card and keeping the colors to a minimum allows us to focus on the beauty of that texture. Great take on the sketch

Wow, you used all those diecuts (and pearls) to their best advantage! The embossed background adds such a nice touch without being overpowering. And who doesn’t like some pretty pink ribbon! Gorgeous!

I love the way you used the pink to accent the white Ann and those textured panels really are the star of the show. So elegant and such a pretty, feminine card!

Gorgeous! I read (to myself) “rich with texture” and my mouth watered up. Weird huh?
